Seriously? Like.....for real, for real? That's just RIDICULOUS.

I can't even make it to the 4th wave, and I've tried seven times, now.

Who's in the final wave?

Final wave is super easy, all Doombots. Definitely didn't love the Sentries for rounds 1-3 though, all three of my characters would have needed a healthpack had I been super active today and that is a big turnoff for a usually very easy 3* cover. I love the DDQ because it is easy and quick and doesn't take a bunch of thought. Turning it into a slog is not my idea of fun.

I remember being relieved that the first wave was over and the sentries were gone, then growing more and more incredulous with each new Sentry-filled wave. By the end, I was taking it personally.
Luckily I had amassed enough red and blue for my 3Cap to nuke/stun the lot of them. My roster isn't developed enough to experience the ridiculous scaling, but it still hurt.

    DDQ doesn't have scaling.

    There's a reason my 4-wave team is Cap/Goblin/Witch.

You might hurt me a little in the first wave, but there's not a lot of **** the Big Enchilada can throw at me that I can't dispense with. I HAVE failed a 4-wave in the last month or so, but it's the only one I've failed since before champions were a thing.

Oh yeah, forgot about that. So hey, at least there's that?

TBE is annoying, either with sentries or symbiotes.
don't see any fun in it and often it's hard not to ragequit. throw your very best team at it, grab the cover and don't waste any more thought on it

CMags, GSBW, and Hood. Never fails, and no 4*s required. It's very satisfying to see a fresh set of sentries pop up on the screen and go "eh" and Sniper Rifle them away in one hit.

In 3-star land, *** Falcon, *** Daken/Blade, Iron Fist has never failed me yet - by wave three you're usually dealing 4k+ a turn due to buffed strike/attacks, and Redwing is mopping up enemy tiles/countdowns. I always boost +2 blue/purple, so Redwing is winging with one one blue match, and Iron Fist is fis... errr... Ironing with only one purple match.

This round of TBE is admittedly very irritating, though not to "unbeatable"-level. I rarely have problems with 3* Bullseye generating strikes, but the damned first round sentries kept destroying my potential purple matches which I needed to accelerate the match, and the other goon kept stealing whatever purple AP I had. Had to bring down the first sentry purely by match damage as I didn't want any of my other characters to accidentally take the last hit. It does get easier after the first one dies though.

Thanks for the warning. It's not worth the agita for a Hulk cover.

    easy with bullseye/if/luke
Bullseye is my top favorite for any wave node. All you need to do is to start rolling and last hiting enemies with him (pink/blue/black/team ups tiles). 1-st wave try to low enemies enough with IF attack tile and when there is 200 HP left kill him with one match (or better get enough pink and kill high health target (3200 Hp range) and then it would be much easier and faster to last hit. Usually board on third wave is already full of strike tiles. And all enemies die to one match + attack tile hit.

3* Cap / IM40 / 2* Storm can handle just about everything. Need to be a bit more careful if there's Sentries or Symbiotes in the first wave (like today) as Storm is fragile and you'll be wanting her 4-turn stun and AOE for the other waves - keep her in back wherever possible and use IM40 to generate blue for her.

I did it with rocket n groot/Dr Doom and Kamela khan.... usual combo really, blacks for attack tiles, blues for strike tiles, let the damage tick through but i was pushed to the limits this time, phoenix went ham salad on me thanks to all my special tiles luckily groot has super heal and tanked the damage from the rest of the fight, after that got some attacks off so kamela pushed her hp back up then i just embiggened bashed the last 2 waves since they were pretty squishy

but yeah been a while since i took such a pasting in tbe

I've been using Devil Dino (Red), Iceman (Blue, Green), and OML (black and tanking)... unfortunately I don't have an outlet for the yellow, so I try to get black early so I can lay down strike tiles before I get too much yellow.

Then I get one big attack with Dino to take out a tile mover, and green aoe for Iceman for any wave I don't feel like mucking with. He can also Stun a tile mover and punch out the next irritating person, and when OML pops his claws, yet another AOE to just clear the board (though at 270 you need to hit it twice).

If it weren't for TBE, I'd never get to use my Dino...

My least favorite one this month was the one with IW (before the rework) where she was teamed with Kishu and since he was the lowest health, he was made invisible... and they had that group in TWO waves... it was so irritating having Caltrops everywhere and you couldn't even hit him because he was invisible... it was a horrible TBE.

I found the two sentries in today's first wave way harder, mainly because they caused so many cascades that JG in the next node had loads of AP to be very scary. If I hadn't brought KK and her team healing along, I don't think I would have made it.

Any of them are a joke with my main account, but my alt, which is still stuck in 2*-land, found the last two days miserable. Wiped once yesterday and twice the day before. I think I'd only wiped once before that. Ever. Did manage to get through both with Cap M, Mags, and Storm, though. Well, down a person both times.
