3* champions

I just got my first 3* to max covers. I have a few at 12 and 11 covers now. Everything is soft capped at lvl 140. Is it worth championing the one now or better to wait and do a few together?

    I was in as similar position fairly recently; I had a couple at eleven covers and 2 at twelve. I kept them around the same level as my top 2s (about 140-143 at the time), then I received 13th and 14th covers for both Lazy Daken and Vision in the space of two days. I champed them both and immediately all I saw in shield simulator were champed 3* teams.

    If you don't have an extra cover in your queue for anyone, I'd say bring them up together, as much as that's possible, but don't champ yet. I don't really like soft-capping, but one or two champs won't do you many favours in PvP, and they're only going to be extra useful in PvE if they're boosted, and a level or two then makes little odds.

    The jump from 140 to 166 on a single character won't mess with your scaling too much but if you don't have the extra cover I would hold off.

    I have 1 5* already. It did not hurt my scaling to much. But 144 is my next highest cover. I am scared if I champion 3* it may push it more. I do not want to end up where I can no longer play pve. Pvp is tough now but still playable. are 4* covers worth less then 3* stars at this stage in the game?

    You may see a very slight bump but we are talking maybe a couple levels tops in your PVE fights. That would be a little more if that one character is boosted.

    4* covers are good to have at this stage so you can compete in those required nodes in the PVE events. I wouldn't throw away any of the elite 4* covers if you get them.
