Bought HP. Now what?

So I bought some HP to expand my Alliance,
Now I'm sitting on the leftover plus what I already had -- about 3700 HP.

Do I want to:
Take Spider-Man to a 5 blue from 4?
Take Black Panther from 2 black to 5?
Spend some on my 4/5/3 Punisher?
Spend on a lesser character? 3/0/3 CMag, 1/1/1 Hood, 3/3 Doom, 1/2/3 MThor?

Spidey 4->5 blue is a given since that pushes him to broken tier. I'd just use the rest of the hp on roster slots or something.
  • I would go with BP because I like doing damage, but I think conventional wisdom says Spidey is the best move.

I would say making punisher able to hit 141 is the best move you can make. 4/5/4 would be good, ideally once you have him maxed and get the cover for it (wait for the drop), take him to 3/5/5. Overall he is the easiest character to fit into a team from my experience and he would be your biggest combat multiplier.

Then I would put Spidey up to 5 blue. If you BP has the covers to take to at least 115 then I would consider more black covers, otherwise I would not worry about it and just focus on getting them from rewards. This is based on the assumption that a 3* under level 100 is not any better than the level 85 2*s everyone already has.
  • If You have less that 35 slots, spend it on roster. Otherwise - Punisher.
  • Obviously Spidey Blue...

Spidey stun makes all matches a cakewalk.
  • spidey blue would be best, but there still is a change coming to spidey so it might bite you in the **** later.

I had a similar dilemma. I bought myself up to 40 roster slots after adding Alliance space, so now I don't have to think about roster slots again until June.

I expect Spidey will be a good character still after the nerf. Worst case scenario: you change your mind about his optimum build after the changes and use respec. Implementing respec takes a huge amount of the pain out of nerfs (at least for 3-power characters).
