no chat loads

began a few days ago on my Samsung tablet, not it's true on my Samsung phone as well. Literally no chat loads at all. At the same time, loading and switching alliances is much slower too. This is more severe than the existing complaints, where people are only seeing some of their chat. All I see is a blank screen.

    Just discovered this happens when on wifi, but does not consistently happen when on 4g. Is there something about the game that if the internet connection is below a certain threshold it will not load chat?

    It just depens on how busy the servers are. They have stated in the past that once server load reaches a certain point, they dial back chat to free up bandwidth.
