In the decks I play Gisela I have a Piggy ready to give her berserking as well. Bruna is pretty pointless especially as you are likely to have DTG as well in the deck. Bruna should also cost 12 mana IMO.

I just ran into a deck in NoP where Bruna was played. Didn't have a removal spell on hand. The next turn she pulled out Ulrich for free, which basically made up for her cost. I wouldn't say she's pointless.

And, huh? When did "especially as you are likely to have DTG as well.." come into existence? I don't think a large portion of the player base has all the new mythics in their library.

Well yeah she has activate 1, not exactly a big chance of pulling that off really so I don't even count that as part of her cost unless you want to design a deck around that. Not worth it.

I don't think a large portion of the player base has Giselda either, I would imagine out of those players that do have her a fair number will also have DTG.

So it sounds like she can be purchased. Purchased where?

Gisela was available as a cash puchase last year, but that offer only ran for a week or so. You can get her in booster packs now... she's in the Shadows Over Innistrad set (which is sometimes available to buy in the vault).

Just a word of advice: Don't empty your wallet trying to chase specific cards by buying booster packs. You will be very disappointed.

Haha, it just came to my mind that this sold card had at least the word "broken" it it's title.
And it is too cheap for sure. 16 Mana would still be very good.

So, maybe it is enough, when they just give Baral the extra title "the broken one" or something like that. ;-P

      • Cost increased to 16 (up from 12).
o Skysnare Spider was undercosted and much too powerful for its cost.

To be fair, the goal is not to institute power creep. Power creep happens a bit naturally over time as options develop (and new abilities come into play).

I remember running skysnare spider when I first got him, so good, almost always 2 for 1'd your opponent. Also remember Dwynen being awesome, crazy they were both considered OP!
