BOP MMR

You'd think with everyone at 550 mmr would open up a bit and offer plentiful targets for all, but I'm seeing only the same 6 players over and over and over

Anyone else getting similar results?

MMR loop for me at 0 points.

I don't know if MMR can be selectively turned off or widened on an event-by-event, but if there was ever an event to do it, it's BoP.

Me too. Not only I didn't have seed teams, I just see the same people that I already see usually. This is really annoying.

The only thing that makes this event bereable is having to fight other people I usually fight, if MMR is broken is going to be unbereable.

It's funny how this works, considering that in Combined Arms the MMR was all the way wide open. I was seeing names I'd never seen before because everyone's team was on the same level (in addition to being an absolute blast to play because of team variation). I don't understand why BOP doesn't function the same way... though BOP also exposes just how clearly overpowered Peggy is. She's everywhere!

it seems like MMR should be non-existent in BOP. If every team is the same, what's the point of it?

Unchanged MMR for me. Completely stuck with no targets straight after seeds. Luckily I had those.

Haven't seen any peggys yet except my own. Haha, she is pretty strong but not overpowered. The last 2 or one opponent gets hard with peggy because her stun isn't as effective anymore. However, it is still 3 countdown tiles that do massive damage.

5*s break MMR and Combined Arms didn't have them. If you have 5*s you can only see 5*s for a long while, and so BoP is yet another glaring example of how 5* players are penalized for their progression.

True dat. It is really annoying. I don't hate BOP as much as some, but it is still super annoying. It would be made more bearable if the MMR would open up so I wasn't fighting the same people over and over and over. Oh, well, offseason is time for a break, I guess.

Which is pretty dumb because if you're using 5*s in BoP, then you're doing it wrong.

And we can chalk BOP up as yet another fail if anyone is still bothering keeping score at this stage given how one sided it's been recently

Looks like I'll have a few days off - great product development where you actively encourage paying customers to go find something better to do with there time - I'm sure a lot of business find that a viable long term strategy

Something weird was definitely going on. Last run of BoP, I didn't run into friendlies until I got to 7-800. This time, three were continuously cycling from 101 (though it wasn't quite the same as usual, as the other choices changed each time through) all the way to 600 or so.

Only partially true. It's hard to deny the advantage of that match damage.

Maybe you just have more friends now. It's what comes of being a nice guy!

After one day and I keep seeing the same people (and I just have 150 points or so). I don't understand it. We all should have a very similar MMR. I have the impression it is completely broken for this event.

It's always been like this. When you are in the beginning stages of your climb all you see are people who are using their 5* characters because you still have 5* MMR. Your 5* are fully built and so are theirs. If you climb up just a couple hundred points higher you start to see everything. The lesson of the day is don't use 5* in BOP unless you want the entire shard to see you immediately from 0 points.

    Yeah.
Same 4 guys in all my nodes from 101 to 500+.
It was either stop playing or triple (or worse) someone.

After we were all ecstatic about Combined Arms, did we really need a reminder how much we hate BOP?
