Welcome to the Fold... very buggy!

I think a lot of the bugs are because gives you "control" over the creature and this is a pretty new mechanic in the game.

My assumption is that it would behave like MTG.
  • You control the creature until it leaves play.
  • Ownership isn't changed. The other player still "owns" the card.
  • Destroyed - goes to owners graveyard.
  • unsummoned - goes to owners hand.
  • returned to deck - returned to owners deck.

I saw a few glitches with this with me playing it. In all of these cases I'm the new controller and the computer opponent was the owner
I'll refer to this card I took as "Taken"
  • "enters play" triggers conditions are inconsistant with both the text on the cards and with normal stealing cards.
    • Willbreaker would trigger a condition. Welcome to the Fold would not.
    • Willbreaker would not trigger a condition, but it would be triggered when it returned to owner. Welcome to the Fold would not.
  • One of those blue creatures that returns target creature to your hand returned the Taken creature to my hand.
  • These "enters play" mechanics need to be standardized with proper terms. There appear to be 3 or 4 variations. Then the triggering needs to be consistant. Reinforcing needs to be consistant, summoning (casting from your hand), taking control, and regaining control.
  • Oppenant cast Prized Amalgam. It died and came back a few times. I Took Prized Amalgam from opponent. It was destroyed (blocked a creature). Opponent summoned a zombie and Prized Amalgam did not return to their control. I summoned a zombie and Prized Amalgam did not return to my control. I can't tell which graveyard it was in, but if it was in theirs, it lost the flag that it was cast by them.

Hate to be a downer, but with how many times these things get posted as bugs without any resolution I'd say just forget anything being fixed.
