(Another) Roster advice

Greetings everyone. I've been an avid player since MPQ came out on Steam last December. I buy HP occasionally to "fill" in the gaps whenever I can due to work constraints preventing me from playing too much a week. I thoroughly enjoy MPQ and with today's +20% sale I ended up with a ton of HP.

I have every 2* maxed other than Cap and finally able to transition to 3*. I've got a 2/5/3 Hood I'm really looking to replace OBW and looking for some opinions to flesh out and make the 3* road less bumpy.

I've got 19k HP to use so here goes!

Best bets:
C.Mag 2/3/1 I know everyone is scared of nerfs, but it's been 2 months(?) since they "leaked" the incoming nerf train
Punisher 1/2/2 The consensus is he's probably the go to man for 3*
Psylocke 2/1/1 She's hot. Is there another reason not to use her? Jest aside, I was looking at her since she'd actually compliment Hood's lack of active Blue, and their Blacks could be interchangeable if I needed to fire off Psylocke's blue?

Not so good bets:
Hulk 5/0/0. Those PVE Sims
Ironman 40 2/1/2
Doom 4/1
GSBW 2/1/1

I don't think you have enough covers for any of those 3* guys to get consistent roster consideration. What's your hood lvl cap at? Generally 3*s don't replace 2* until lvl 100.

If you want to use that hp to cover someone up, Punishers safe bc you can use him anywhere with pretty much anyone. Polarity has a really good guide on transition in "tips and guides" and there's a breakdown of all the characters in mischief maker's character ranking post in "character discussion"

My team is this:

Classic Mags 5/4/4
-Magnetic field is beyond OP. You can use it as a ridiculous painful offensive chain crit making weapon, in addition to using 4 lines to get 4 free other color AP, basically trading 1 blue AP for 4 of other colors, not to mention the damage.
-4 in projectile because 3 is cheap enough
-4 in purple for the damage if you ever use it
-Boost +2 blue/purple, match blues ASAP to get magnetic field chain going.

Widow Grey Suit 5/3/5
-Sniper Rifle is beyond insane. 10,008 base damage, plus a damn near entire board wipe to start your magnetic field chains over again.
-Pistol, meh, mild board control, expensive though
-5 in Deceptive Tactics. Nutso good. Feeds Sniper Rifle, allows for multiple crit placement.

3rd man optional. MUST bring green match strength.
GSWidow, while having Green, Red and Purple powers, brings Purple, Blue and Black match strengths. Bringing a Green matcher makes Deceptive tactics even more insane by increasing damage by multiple times depending on your green man. Or woman.

Suggestions:

Hulk 4/5/4
-Placed in the center spot, he tanks green, red and black tiles for magneto and GSWidow, optimizing his passive black, which feeds greens to widow.

Thor 5/5/3
-Thunderstrike, 9 green tiles down, nuff said. Only 3 in Call the Storm cuz you'll never use it over Sniper Rifle.

Ragnarok 5/5
-6 reds means 4 greens down, great damage and setup for Deceptive tactics.

I'll hold off and see what this 3* Daken looks like. I run the 2* version and spam green tiles for Ares and it speeds up my matches a lot so maybe he'll end up tanking my 3* transition.

Not bad thinking, 2* is annoying already and this is another "lazy" variant, so he could be a monster

It was announced in an ign article about the 2m downloads. Iceix also posted in news today, check it out. Human torch too
