Dumb question about health regen

I use Moonstone and Bagman in a battle, both come out 500 HP down. Obviously, if I set the game down and come back 5 minutes later they've both gained some health. But what happens when I enter a battle? If I leave Moonstone on the bench and take Bagman in (and Bagman takes no damage in that second battle) I've been assuming Moonstone will have regenerated some health but Bagman will have the same health he entered the battle with. Is that correct?

    Yes. Your active players do not regenerate health while in battle (except for Patch and Daken obviously) but the timer for outside battle is independent of your actions. Your dead heroes and healing heroes are unaffacted by you going into battle.
