I've been putting off updating my iOS because I knew it would glitch the game.

Is it safe to do the update at this point?

Would be hugely helpful if someone from D3 would weigh in.

The fix is up in the App Store now (whether or not it actually fixes the issue, I can only assume.)

I updated my phone as soon as the 7.1 update came out and I just installed the MPQ update before I made this post and I've been playing since then.

Yep, the client just came out. I'll do a News/Announcement post on it in a moment. But basically it just fixes that one particular issue, and only for iOS 7.1. If you're not using an iPhone 4 (or the equivalent Touch, Gen... 5?) the client update will do nothing for you. Can't hurt to update to stay current but you're not going to see anything cool out of it.

I installed iOS 7.1 then the game patch.

Everything seems to be working fine.
