Problem with S.H.I.E.L.D. Signal Intercept

I'd like to start by saying how much I like the new 'S.H.I.E.L.D. Signal Intercept' option that came with the latest update. I believe it will really help out those people who don't have the money or time to invest as much into the game, and also help the developers and Marvel to make a little money to offset those users.

Unfortunately, I've had the new button fail on many occasions. Instead of taking me to watch a video, it will say something along the lines of "Comm link failed. Please try again later."
I would say about 1/2 of them have worked, and the other half have not. I've probably gotten the new button about 8 times so far.
I've made sure to restart the app, but that hasn't made a difference. Sometimes the button works, sometimes it doesn't. And I have a good wi-fi connection, and have the app set to use my cellular data when wi-fi is not available.

Can you please look into this issue?
