Planeswalker abilities giving haste isnt very useful

The way I see it, the only times a paneswalker giving haste to something is useful are:

* when a creature token or creature enters the battlefield at beginning of your turn
* when you get an extra swap by matching 5 or more gems

These two things don't happen nearly consistantly enough for haste to be useful. Maybe give an option to have the next creature that enters your battlefield get the buff. Not sure if there's a better solution to this.

I would say that just about any effect that gives haste is pretty much useless, to be honest...

Still, the most cards giving haste are either of little use or would still be good without that effect, like the Bandit or even lesser ones as Infectious Bloodlust where the haste part is a rather insubstantial bonus.
But is anybody out there who is seriously using for example Forerunner of Slaughter?

I would have to agree here. There are a few PWs that have "give haste to X creature" as one of their abilities, but the creature would already have to be on the board, and if it is, then it probably doesn't need haste.

Other cards that give haste conversely can be useful, but not always, but that is the nature of the card.

PW ability to give haste is just so that when you use the ability it is always relevant... even if you just cast a creature off a match-5.
