X-force or Quake

Hello,

Need a tip. I have X-force cover in the queue (after I have sold easily 10 of them already) but since I have ~200k iso and he is lvl 200 already I am considering championing him (maybe to pair with championed Deadpool).

At the same time I have 2 covers for Quake who needs one of another color to be maxed. I could spend 120 CP and 300k iso (she is around lvl 140) to champion her. Truth be told - not sure I would use her outside of her being boosted.

Maybe I should level my 5* a bit (so far Iron Man at 3-2-2 is lvl 310, OML at 2-1-1 is 300, the rest is not leveled but also not really well covered... Strange the next best at 3-1-3 and asking for iso to help in PvE). For the time being I am not using 5* for anything else than clearing the trivial nodes in PvE.

I can also stay put, sell the covers (still 12 days) and see what future brings (eg my Peggy is at 2-4-4 and if the covers fall I would love to have iso to champion her).

Any thoughts?

Myself, I'd just go with the covers on this one and do XFW.

If you play PvE extensively, Daisy is extremely useful, even when not bugged. She has JG-level AoE with board shake, a crazy passive AoE damage blanket, and targeted tile destruction.

Since I can't see using any of them not-boosted I think I will cash in 3000 iso. X-force is on the bench since the nerf and he will probably stay there. As for Daisy - I will keep relying on Star-Lord and boosted 4* i have for the week. If I don't have any boosted I use Ice-Man-Nova-StarLord trio to make quick PvE grind or I take Jean to clear the opps tiles. So Daisy would not get out of the bench much as well (maybe for the stupid AOE ninjas but that is not that common).

I will wait till they are close to expire. If Quake is fully covered by that time (as in I don't have to use 120 CP to get final cover) she might jump the queue and get leveled. Otherwise it's Peggy, Punisher and Thing before her (provided I get covers for Peggy and PunMax).

Waiting and seeing what pops up before they expire is probably the best tactic for now. I know Quake would be a clear cut choice for me over X-Force (eventually OML will make him obsolete on your roster) but I hate spending CP for a specific cover. They always show up right after you pay for one.

Quake gets a lot of use even unboosted (or non-glitched) for me. In addition to what was already said, she’s very adaptable, and don’t overlook how great that blue can be. It kept Kaecillius from ever firing his black in the Strange PVE boss fights last weekend. It can work similarly to shut down one-color-dependent characters like Hulkbuster or X-Force Wolverine, even Civil War Iron Man boss (take away the yellow and bye bye House Party).

Exactly. I wouldn't spend the CP, either, but Daisy is pretty easily in the top third of 4* characters. You really can level her with confidence, and play her unboosted. She's extremely useful at either 5/3/5 or 5/5/3, situationally, and if you have a better green user, like Jean, she could help form a pretty dominant team at 3/5/5.

Thanks for the input guys. I will see what happenes. I will open my Latest soon (18 for the moment plus maybe 2 more from the next crash) and maybe Daisy missing cover will show up.
