Day 73. The lull. Should I buy 3* covers with CP?

I've had all my 2*s champed for about a week and so my ISO is just beginning to collect with no particular shopping list in mind (now at about 71,000). It's a nice lull after the intense ISO/champing activity I just went through.

My question is about spending CP.
I only have 133 today and know I should continue to hoard. I have 5 Legendaries in the vault.

I thought Blade was going to be my first useful 3* (2-3-1), but Kamala Khan is wooing me Big Time (1-2-1). That's only 4 covers, but seeing her boosted talents in the current PvE makes me want to buy a couple more covers. Her passive health, and her green-feeder works wonders with my 2*Human Torch and 2*Ares. I can almost replace 2*OBW in my primary trio.
And I'm just about to the point of getting PvP matches where I can compete.

What is the general opinion on this...buying a few 3* covers when I'm just beginning the transition or sit tight?
