It's more than lag. The 2nd picture shows data discrepancy, the top part shows different points and place than the list. That should never happen regardless any lag.

Got the same glitch today. I put up a shield, and three minutes later got smacked in the face with a -23 notice. Not the first time this happened to me, too. Guess I gotta live with that, but if it was a matter of taking the first place or not, I'd be pissed as hell.

i wrote to devs about this and they replied that if u have shielded urself and someone 1 min or 2 min before that started an attack on u points will be deducted if u have lost cuz battle has started before u equipping shield

This is obviously not true, as it's usually "will I managed to put on shield before losing pts" situation. And quite often once You put on shield, no longer then a couple of seconds later You start getting info about shielded attacks.
