bug or how it is supposed to work?

during the halloween event i had relentless dead out why the opponent cast imprision in the moon on it it popped out but left the caged version behind giving me mana every turn, it did it again latter and gave me it back again and he brought my last other zombie with him and it counted as 2 so it ended up at 3 free mana every turn plus i put grotesque mutaion on it and used it to kill him.
just not sure if it is supposed to work like that but i was happen for the mana battery

    basically yes, thats how it should work.

    Except the part where the other zombie came back giving you a third token, that sounds like a bug.

    think that is what happened i was kind of in shock it was working but i ended up with 3 tokens and unless i missed a casting i only saw it cast twice
