Champed Nova, what next? (but not who to level ;))

I have champed Nova as my 11th 4* championed. And now I need to learn how to use him as he was sitting at 140 with all the covers for a long time. I have read the character thread and seems like the 5-5-3 build is a the preferred one. But the real question is who I should pair him with for PvE and if he is any good in PvP (not boosted as when boosted all are decent).

My 4* champions are Hulkubster, Iceman, RHulk, Jean, Deadpool, Ant-man, Star-lord, Thoress, Cyclops, and Dino. I have all 3* champed as well. Unfortunately no real punch in 5* land with OML being at 2-1-1 and Ironman at 3-2-2 as the most developed (lvl 300 and 310 respectively).

Seem like Nova will be joining OML and Ironfist for the easy rounds of PvE but after that - it's a guessing game for me. Any tips and combos would be appreciated.
