    This will be our first time living with kids in a nice suburban neighborhood. We can't wait to enjoy the trick or treat fun tonight!

    One of the things that really sucks about living in Japan is that there is really no Halloween culture here. Yes, some people and kids dress up for their parties or whatever, but you will never see packs of kids roaming the streets going door to door. I find it rather ironic as well, since this is one of the safest countries on earth. It's doubly sad for me because Halloween is my second-favorite holiday. Boo.
