    I made a similar thread to this before, but not as Europe vs. America, it was that my ios alt account has cheaper prices than my main android account, which is extremely annoying as well!

    Yes.

    Price doesn't have to correlate with costs. It correlates with how much the consumer is willing to pay.

    I have no idea how they determined why x is willing to pay more than y. It could be some weird counterintuitive algorithm at work, or simply a mistake.

    But this is indeed the reason why any good can be more expensive in one place/platform than another.
