Cash in Tacos for chance at Peggy

Here's the situation:

I have a 4/2/5 Peggy. I had 212 Taco Tokens in the Savory vault, and a Red Peggy cover, and my 13th and final X-23 cover. I decided to go for it.

Pretty decent haul after 62 tokens:

mix of Iso, Health, & 2

That leaves me with 150 Tokens left to go. Should I keep attempting to get my 12th Peggy (leaving me with a sad 5/2/5 Peggy), or hold out? The odds of then drawing a specific cover for her in the continually diluted cover pool is slim.

That’s tough. One hand, I hate being in that 5/2/5 (or 5/5/2, 2/5/5) situation because its almost a guarantee you’ll be plagued by those two maxed cover colors only for a while.

But it is rare to have a specific color like that available and you don’t want to miss it (especially now that her as a PVP reward as also passed. It will be a while before Peggy rotates back in the cycle.)

And there’s the Crash to consider this Saturday. Depending if you have her leveled enough for it, that red is going to be your main damage dealer in that fight. Peggy’s blue won’t stun a single opponent AND because she has no allies, there will be only 1 countdown tile instead of three.

I think I would take the chance and go for it.

You can always buy that last cover with CP.

Exactly my concern actually. I had Kingpin at 4/2/5 last time this came around, and went for it because I like playing him. Got the 5th black after the 70th pull. Then proceeded to get 2 yellow covers from champion rewards and had to sell them since he was stuck at 5/2/5.

Thanks for the feedback. I've got enough ISO to level her, and I think a 4/2/5 should be able to beat crash this week (although you never know). Will think about it some more until her crash rolls around in the next day or so and make the call then if I can't beat it.

Another interesting idea. I haven't spent CP on a cover yet, and i am sitting on 150 at the moment (no iso to max everyone, so waiting till it builds back up). I suppose if there was any one cover worth spending the CP on it'd be her yellow.

I cashed in another 15 tokens before I realised that I am 4 Captain Marvel covers away from a Peggy red. D'oh!

New strategy is to wait for champ rewards on Captain Marvel and continue to hoard. Now to seek the elusive Peggy Yellow.....

Since my vault had 2 Peggy covers (red and yellow) i've decided to cash in. From starting point at 300 tokens it took me 283 pulls to get both (the first one was there after maybe 15). Still - got plenty of ISO, HP and all the other interesting rewards (without some 3* and 2*). No regrets. Now she is 2-4-4. I hope I get two covers and I can CP the final one.
