OML opinions to support a 4* roster?

So I’ve been extremely lucky and not only gotten a good amount of OML covers, they’ve been evenly distributed so far (4/4/3). I’ve been keeping him at lvl 315 so as not to throw off my scaling (based on previous advice I read on this forum). He’s the only 5* I have above lvl 260 and I’ve got about 14 4*’s champed (13 more fully covered, waiting on ISO).
However, I noticed something looking at my PVP attacks & defeats. Most of the teams that are beating with an OML, that OML actually has worse covers than me, they just boosted him to their current level cap. That’s made me wonder, with the recent changes to the game, if I should do the same thing, just get OML up higher if not my current cap (lvl 420)? Would the fact that’s he my only 5* above 300 keep the scaling under control? Or would I be just dooming myself to the OML show all the time, just to deal with the scaling? I find him fun to play, especially with my champ Nova, and Red Hulk if the node allows, but that might get old after a few months. Is that going to make PVP a 5* OML/Phoenix/BSSpidey nightmare right from the 1st 100 pts? I’m not an end game level PVP player, I’m content to get to 900 pts and rarely care about placement rewards
I’m currently finishing up max/champing 2*’s, then I’ve got to max/champ Peggy. All have a LT hoard to open at that point too, but is leveling him something I should start focusing on, even its just to make the grind on champing 4*’s less of grind?
Thanks for any input from players who might have done the same.

With that many champ 4*s, I would at least take him up to 375. That is around their boosted levels. You will still see a good number of dual 4* or single non-champed 5*/4* teams.
I bit the bullet after the death of cakes and I champed my Phoenix and maxed my OML out at 390. I now almost never see 4* only teams in PVP but I still see teams that are very beatable. IE, I'm not stuck fighting 2 champ 5*s.0
