Cheater alliances

This is a problem that is becoming more and more prevalent with the addition of more tournaments with alliance rewards.

There are numerous alliances which have been funded using cheats, and clearly contain cheaters. If you want to take a look, I suggest searching for the following:

Before going forward with any further alliance ideas, this issue must be resolved. E.g. if alliance roster slots are expanded to 50, then anyone can simply create a Steam account, get hacked HP and instantly give any alliance 50 slots at the drop of a hat. Obviously this is not good for the bottom line (and probably explains why there wasn't much of an uptick in HP sales).

I propose that everytime a commander gets sandboxed, the alliance he belongs to should be examined for other cheaters. If any roster slots were bought by the sandboxed players, then they should be removed. In the case of the above alliances, they should be disbanded. For your info, two of the above cheater alliances are currently placing highly in Lord of Thunder.

I am new to the game, and I've been hit with maxed covers/level. It is annoying, how are they cheating? Are they using hack tools?

Just because you may suspect it's an Alliance cheating instead of a player, that doesn't change the procedure.
