To Champ Dino or not to Champ Dino

I managed to finish off my Devil Dino in the last anniversary and even picked up an extra 3 covers, however I know need to deicide if I want to champ the little blighter or not.

I currently have Dino at lvl 160 and with the 3 additional covers coming from the daily rewards, this would give me 6 covers in total.

Dino would be my 1st 4* to champ, I have just finished my HB and am looking to champ when I get my next cover (along with XFW and PX (and 4Pool if I can get a Black or Purple cover)

However I am just not sure if it is worth the iso spend on a char that only gets used for 10/11 days of the year, while iso is not an issue at the mo (sitting on 1.6 mill although that will go quickly when the 4*'s start to get leveled) but I am just not sure.

Has anyone else been in the same boat, what did you do? do you regret it? was it worth it?

Dino is useless to champ, you won t receive any new cover until the next anniversary.
Plus you've got some really good 4* to champ with HB and 4Pool.
I had the same decision to take some days ago, and decided to champ her. But I already have some 4* champed that I can use, saw champing Dino as a little personnal trophy, and I'm not in a hurry to champ everyone. It comes when it comes.
So, I'd say champing Dino is a waste of iso, but if it makes you feel good, do it.

I sold my Dino, twice. Too tempting with 5k+1k hp in return.

I think I would keep that iso for better characters.

I have champed my Dino this anniversary, but he wasn't my first 4*, I had 6 champion levels for him and I have leveled him before his PvP. And I regret a bit this decision now when I'm low of iso for Iceman or Cyclops

However Dino is mostly a trophy character.

I now have 8 champed 4* including Dino which I champed just after anniversary.

Will he be useful? No. It's still an LT for champing him, so you may enjoy that. With the rarity of the covers for him, it would seem more of a waste to let 6 covers get sold instead of put into champing him... but that's me.

Also, don't wait for the extra cover to champ HB, champ him now so you can begin to change his build around to suit the circumstances. You won't get the LT until you get another cover for him, but you can still champ him without cover #14.

I personally saw champing Dino as a challenge completed, and it felt good for me. Waste is in the eyes of the beholder. A person that buys a Stark is wasting money in my eyes, but that same person could look at you and say champing Dino is a waste... to each their own. Waste is subjective.

Champ!!! Mine's lv 277! I'm never looking back!!! He's the ultimate trophy, and he's not bad in pve.

That last node on The Hunt was funny with a champed Dino. *chomp*, *chomp*, *chomp*, Dark Avengers all dead.

Yup. Quite the HP farm he was.

After both of his DDQs I sold my existing level 150 for 18k + 2k, rebuilt a max covered level 82 version, and sold 6-7 more covers for another 2k HP. I used that to help empty the Anniversary vaults, which gave me the LTs I'd have gotten from champing anyway.

Sure, I could have a level 290ish Dino with all of that, but there are so many other (better) characters in need of Iso, i just couldn't justify it.

Champ him! It's fun to have a champed Dinosaur. This is a game and it should be fun!

I loved dino. Maxed him way back when 4or and xforce got hit by a couple nerf nukes. Champed and got even more of his covers this anniversary.

After his "buff" which may have made him better, but it killed what I liked about him and what made him special imo.

At last, I'll miss her. But her sacrifice gave me 6 much needed roster slots. Because if you leave the game and come back, it literally takes Starks to get caught back up. If it was only 20- 30, I wouldn't mind, but pretty sure I'll end up leaving again.

I champed him right before the anniversary and I ended up with him being my highest level character.
Just makes me wonder if that'll be the case in the next anniversary.

I champed him before anniversary, and I'll champ Howard as soon as possible. It's the only time to get the LT (and future CP/LT) from them. They also seem to be the only 4*'s that will regularly be featured, even if it is only once a year.

Except perhaps Ghost Rider now as well, and Elecktra has had two PVP events. I guess that makes them joke characters as well?

Don't do it. He's not that good to fight with and doesn't scare anyone in PvP.

I champed mine. But if I had six covers in the queue, i would have sold him then recruited a new one and apply the covers in the queue for him so I'd have a chance at the anniversary next year especially if the covers in queue were mostly red.
