    There's nothing to feel bummed about, since nobody has said that they've received any compensation. It's unknown why it "seems" to Chad739 that some people have received it.

    I have not received or heard anything. But was more than frustrated with the maintenance at the time, now it being 4 days after maintenance where as they told us there would be compensation..... Update?? Anything??

    I haven't seen/nor heard anything either. When compensation was offered before, it was usually much quicker than this...

    I have lost a battle as maintenance kicked in just while I was 2 rounds from winning match

    What are you talking about? The maintenance happened during a game I was winning. I lost 7 ribbons and a top-5 spot by 3-4 ribbons for that matter (after the maintenance I went perfect) and consequently the rewards for top-5. I feel very entitled for a compensation.

    This is why you don't mention compensation. Some idiot starts a rumour and everyone demands a non existent(as yet) compensation.

    That makes one person who is butt hurt. As you're still active here, you could have seen the post regarding the maintance and avoid playing a duel around the time when the maintance started (I did so). Furthermore, they had fix some server problems, which is important, don't you think?

    The point is, if people which are go for the top 5 anyway, complain about compensation, what shall the new players think? I guess you got a good bunch of mythics/rares anyway and such a compensation helps new players a lot more, than butt hurt veteran players.

    No offense, I'm a veteran player as well.

    Here is the thing. If you say you are going to give it then you have to follow up, I doubt more than a very few would be concerned with it if we were not told it was coming. It comes down to sticking with what you commit to.

    That, indeed, is correct. On the other hand it seems very rude to me demanding the compensation.

    Will they follow through? Quite likely. Yet if you look carefully, they didn't actually (quite) commit to it. They only said compensation was "planned" - worth keeping in mind when you form your expectations.

    It's also worth keeping in mind that this happened all of 2 work days ago. Is patience even a thing these days? icon_rolleyes.gif

    Saying planned and then not giving it would be about as stupid a PR move as they could do. Yes you are technically correct but bailing on your customer on a technicality is a good way to not have customers anymore. Again they did not have to say compensation was planned at all, but since they did they need to follow through. I am not one that is saying it has to happen now, but they have done it faster in the past so it is understandable people are asking about it.
