Auto battle

I think it would be pretty cool to have an auto battle option in this game. Plus have the ability to set up the A.I., (i.e. mythics top priority, then support, etc....( 3rd tier ability first and the randomly after)). Personally, I think it would just be interesting and fun to see your deck build in action. Good idea? Yes? No?

This will just have the effect of ramping up the points needed to get into qb prize brackets and exclude more casual players. The game is already really tough on casual players as it is, no need to make it worse imo.

What's the point of a puzzle game if you don't actually do the puzzle?
  • I think it would be neat to be able to play against an AI controlled version of your own deck, to see how it plays out as a defense deck in quick battle or pvp events.

It doesn't make any sense to have a mode where both sides are AI controlled though, much less the ability to do that in quick battle.

If you couldn't use it to more easily automate Quick Battle/rune farming, then sure. It would be especially awesome if the instructions you give the AI are used when others play your deck(s).

There's a game where you build a six-card deck against another pleayer in real time and then you watch the autobattle unfold and it's actually quite fun. The mechanics are different though as the card play depends on timers and not a mana-like resource.

I think an autobattle feature would be great to test and fine-tune decks. Just have it as a deck-building tool and not a competitive or farmable game mode.

I'd like a finish auto-feature, Start each battle manual, then allow to let the ai to finish the job. But the grind is exactly what makes the company money. I don't see them wanting to implement this.

It would be nice to have some general settings for the a.i when someone is playing against one of your decks. Especially the choices it makes in regards to how it uses the abilities. Most of my decks only work because I'm choosing to cast this spell, or not cast that support. Some parameters for how the a.i plays your cards would be extremely helpful. I laugh watching the a.i cast three mirrorpools then a fairy miscreant. The computer has a huge advantage overall, but when it does this it really subtracts from the strategic factor of the game. And lulls you into thinking your deck is competitive until you run into shteev in QB.
Id love a danger room of sorts, like a test arena. See how your deck works on both sides of the fence. I'd be really curious to know what it's like playing against my stronger pw's. I wonder if they're as effective in the hands of the a.i. as they are in mine.

I think mines perform like sht. It is semi-intentional, i didn't feel the need to make it harder for those who try to play with weaker cards. I saw no point in thinning the player base.
The funny thing is that the very same cards which help me the most are the ones that make my deck sck in the hands of the a.i. for example: aligned hedron network or most of my mass removals.
