    I shielded and got +66 from 2 unsuccessful challenges. Normally, I wouldn't care about GSBW, but guess who the next featured star is in our tourney?

    (And it bites that her green cover was the Top Ten prize. I don't use my GSBW much, but unless someone else has another strategy, that sniper trick is her one-trick pony trick.)

    But much thanks for everyone's contributions to the alliance prize. Once again, I've gotten more ISO and HP than I could have gotten alone.

    Psylocke covers are definitely worth going for. Good news is my GSBW is sitting at a beefy level 15 so my contribution should be HUGE!!! I will get what i can. Most likely wont get much further than 100 points.

    As long as you have 2 other max 2* characters like Magneto, Storm, Thor, Ares, Daken, Wolv... I've found you can usually hit the 300 mark to get a 2* token. Just wait until it's almost ending as people with subpar rosters will be higher up to pick off.

    Ill make a good push since the PvE event is ending. I have quite a few high level and maxxed 2 and 3 star guys. Id love for us to all get a psylocke cover.

    unfortunately without the use of OBW and no spidey to speak of, my use in this event is pretty much nothing. icon_e_sad.gif

    Psylocke is one of my faves from back in the Marvel/X-Men vs Capcom arcade era. She's (and y'all are) the reason I'm playing the GSBW tourney - which is like drawing the Golden Gate Bridge with my left hand. My current Psylocke is 4/0/0 through luck of the draw, and I'd love some color diversity.

    After that, it looks like Human Torch tourney and a revisit of the Juggernaut level.

    I got a surplus Ares with my 300 point token, but it's been an okay tourney so far. I still can't find great chemistry with GSBW, as I'm so reliant on her 2* sister.

    god i think my favourite thing in this world is to grind up to 300 points in a tourney that i can't use obw to heal in and pull a 2* cap from the event token... icon_evil.gif

    just pulled a torch black from the 300 point token. finally something to make up for all the 2* thors and caps i've been getting lately.

    if they had a sale on HP right now i'd probably definitely make the plunge and level up HT all the way since i now have a cover in all 3 colors for him...

    What great luck atlas. I lost out on the black torch at the end of the event. Id like to see how he looks max covers and levels.

    Double ditto. Despite two awesome underdog wins (including a 1,000-hitpoint lvl85 OBW beating a 4K lvl 200 Ragnarok one-on-one), I ended up missing the black HT cover by less than ten plaves.

    Also, even though my HT gold token was another Bagman -and I'm waiting for some nuclear mutation to turn him into ridiculously overpowered BagZilla- my silver token from a LR netted me Punisher red.

    Edit: I haven't seen HT's black effect yet, but they really knocked themselves out with his graphics and animations. I still want to call him Burger King or Hunger Games, based on the logo.

    his black makes a circle of attack tiles in the middle of the board. does decent damage but is quite fragile.

    I noticed that at level 18, Human Torch and Loki have the same hit points.
