Kindle Fire HD7 app bugs

My daughter has been having trouble with the MPQ app for her Kindle Fire HD7 ever since the latest update a few days ago. The game often will not start when she tries to bring it up and when it does, somethings do not work correctly. For example, in the Boss Rush alliance challenge, the meter that shows the overall progression through the rounds began to fall significantly behind where it should have been and she stopped receiving reward tokens both for her progress and for the that of our alliance. Anyone else having such problems?
