PVE: Boss Rush - What Team to Use

Now that I am done ranting on the other discussions, I want to make the best of this event and do the best I can, as I'm sure most of you are doing.
With that said, what is very team(s) using for this event for each wave? The previous Boss PVEs had one or two strategies that could be used the entire event but this time each boss requires their own strategy which makes it difficult to choose the right team.
Please share your successful team and wave in the comments do we can all help each other out!! I'll update my post to include other players teams
Round 1: Patch, Loki, Daken. No particular reason, just testing the event with true healing and cascade protection. Ended the round quickly with two completions.
Round 2: Hulk, Mohawk, CMags. Figured I would try the team I used to fully complete Galactus. Does not work as well with 3 bosses but they did okay.
Round 3: IM40, CMags, KK. I use this team for hard nodes in PvE. Worked well, only lost once. Focus on Yellow to have plenty of AP by turn 3 or 4. I also switched KK for Red Hulk to use his purple to drain Banner's green before he transformed
Round 4: Hulk, Red Hulk, Cyke. Have Hulk or Red Hulk be Infront to take damage to create green or destroy tiles while Cyke does most of the damage. Red Hulk at 18 green can kill GGs goons and IMs droids in one shot. I also changed Hulk for IM40 at times.
Other Player Suggestions: Charlie's Angels (Professor X, SW, GSBW) - Hulk, Mohawk, KK
Round 5: Hulk, Mohawk, KK
Other Player Suggestions: Cho, Kingpin, and Cyke - XFW, XFDP, Doom
Please only use this discussion to share your teams below. Do not use this discussion to complain about the event, there are other discussions for that.

I found a pretty good deal of success using X-Wolve, Dr. Doom, and X-Deadpool. Basically was taking advantage of the fact that Surgical Strike and Countdown for What target the same type of tiles, so if you trigger Countdown then Surgical Strike, I was able to do quite a ton of damage (1.5k per X-Deadpool x 6, plus 1.5k per Surgical Strike tile x 6, is 18k damage just with 6 tiles destroyed). Not bad. Wolvie also has his green to help make some cascades, yellow to keep up with health losses (same with red ability for X-deadpool) and even Enforcer ability on X-deadpool helped with some extra damage. Dr. Doom I just threw in to fuel surgical strike, and because he has a decent health pool since he's boosted.0

Round 4 (and round 5 i think)
I used Hulk (5/3/5) Mohawk storm (5/5/3) and Kamala (5/5/3)
Only use 3 powers
- Storm's green and yellow
- Kamala's purple
- Keep your green AP at 10 and above at all times if possible
- Flood the board with green (while keeping purple untouched) using Kamala or make green matches
- DO NOT overwrite purple with green using Kamala
- use Storm's green to grab green and purple
- use storm's yellow to clear TU tiles before you use her green (if possible). This helps to minimise the chances of you collecting TU tiles when you use her green.
- use Hulk to tank if needed to generate green
- grab whatever match 5s you can get
It's a slow and steady battle (think 10min or more) so dont rush through it or you'll make mistakes.
Basically just copied and paste the above text from another thread
At this point of round 4/5, this team is pretty reliable and should be feasible for players who mainly have a champed 3* roster. Not sure how this team will do in later rounds though. Unfortunately for me, my Mostorm is higher level than Hulk so she tanks more than Hulk0 -
I have two boosted champed 4* for this PVE: Wolverine and Hulk TA
After experimenting with several teams, I found that using Hulk TA, KK, SW seems to be very stable.
The key, of course, is the purple and I will play slowly in the first boss to accumulate the purple. Hulk TA's green is actually quiet good in terms of damage (18k) and board control.
Will test this team again for round 5.0 -
I Charlie's Angel's'd it clean through round 4. Came close to wiping a couple of times on bad boards. Without a very good board, I can't see it working well from 5 onwards.0

I won first boss wave in Round 5 with TA Hulk, Kingpin, and Blue Cyclops (all champ, first two boosted). AI had a lot of green in the end, and OML killed CHulk, but three Fingers of Doom with CD tiles took OML out. Heavy, heavy damage, and I'm sure I'll be facing a loss when the reset happens, but the burst is real.0

Please keep boss Rush discussion to the Boss Rush thread at viewtopic.php?f=7&t=53171
Edit: actually, let's move this to Events and keep it open. A separate strategy thread is a good idea here.0 -

I used Hulk (5/3/5) Mohawk storm (5/5/3) and Kamala (5/5/3)

- Kamala's purple
Its slooow but gets the job done
One advantage is that as damage is not too big it bypasses IM45 House protocol.0 -
Thanks for all advices.
I use hulk, KK and cyke and it works well on 4th round.
I try this on 5th round now...0 -
I went with X-Force Wolverine, Iron Fist and Prof X. Pray, Big Head Mode, Strike, Repeat.0

Used Hulk Smash for my finishing move - very satisfying...0 -

Thanks everyone so far that contributed to this discussion on their teams. I added the suggested teams to the main post. Hopefully we get more combinations and ways to beat later rounds.
I used Hulk, KK and Mohawk to success. Thanks Oldboy0 -
Against these guys in round 4 and 5, I've actually found rousing success using Ant-Man, Kingpin, and Patch.
KP can pop ant tiles and, since that's their only purpose, you can go 5/5/3 as ant man. This lets you steal GG's pumpkin bomb buffs (which are pretty nice on their own), lets you clog purple so Wolverine can have a clear shot with beserker rage, and makes it so even if you're below 50% OML is just pumping more power into you.
I didn't lose a single member.0 -

I should have corrected this. After a second look at this thread, I decided it was a valuable separate discussion topic on event strategy and decided to move it to the appropriate Events subforum and leave it unlocked. Sorry for the mixed messages.0 -
I cleared Round 5 without a loss with Angels. Round 6, they were just too squishy and I lost Widow early on after a few turns. Got Invisible tile out before Scarlet Witch got downed, and managed to get halfway through Jean's health before she managed to get a match 5 which wiped Prof X out. That was with +2 b/p, +2all, so think I'm done with that team for now.0

I've had luck in Round 5 with champed Kingpin, Ghost Rider and Professor X. GR respecced to 5/5/3 and spamming out green and red abilities. (I even used Kingpin's black to crush GR's red after it had gone off once, when I had a lack of countdowns to work with.) Prof. X at 3/5/5 and going invisible as fast as he can. First time only Prof. X made it to the very end (invisible and buffing tiles like crazy); second time they all made it, with some damage. All depends on the boards, but I feel like I have more of a chance with this team than others I've tried.0

Only bug I've run into so far is Iron Man using Winning Team against me multiple times in a single turn.
Round 6 is just ludicrous though. OML to start (who does heal, counter to what others have said), Phoenix second... and I lost there, because Phoenix got to take one turn.
If Phoenix takes one turn, she basically does 12k damage + 5k team damage + stuns a person. Whoops.
I guess the rest of the event I'll just be slogging through round 6 hoping I get enough points for one Peggy cover. This is beyond brutal.0 -

Just wanted to join in on the praise. This strategy is the only way I got through rounds 4 & 5!
Fingers crossed for 6... I just want one Peggy cover...0 -
Just go to rd 6 and out of clears but been having really good luck with Cho/KP/Peggy.

Cho/KP is the main engine. xfdp or im40 could make decent thirds as well.0 -
I'm on round 6 now which is much harder because of Phoenix; the only strategy with her is to kill her as fast as possible. Since she has an area attack, invisible characters will still die. I would suggest saving up your AP until you reach her, and then unload everything hoping to kill her quick. Matching red tiles slows her down a little. I've gotten this far using Patch, Doom and Invisible Woman.0
