Who is your favorite team?

So I play this game a lot! Probably too much... And the thing that makes it the most fun for me is finding new combinations that work well together... And while I'm sure these team ups have been discussed in previous forums I thought it would be fun (at least for me) to discuss some good, fun teams... So, who is your personal favorite, most fun, or *insert category* team?

My personal favorite: Psylocke, Astonishing Wolverine and Modern Storm

Most Fun lately: The Hood, modern Hawkeye and Lazy Thor (to Mhawks right of course)
Hawkeye hides while the Hood activates his abilities faster and Lazy Thor... Well, you know...Lots of AOE damage!

I made an effort not to use spidey as much as possible so I am having fun with various combos. Hood, hulk, lazy thor; patch, doom, BP; Mags, pun, doom. There were a few others and it kept the matches interesting. Not sure which I liked most but keeping spidey on the bench keeps it fresh and I did my fair share of dying while still beating the node.

Mostly match till 1 is at half then pop bewilder to steal anything but yellow. After that just depends on what ap i get but i immediately pop rage and spam the skill to their faces. Either that or 20 red comes first then its bti, n psys red to kill 2 n kill with match damage the last guy.

Mags and Punisher are my boys. I switch in hood and hulk. Looking at giving Psylocke a chance soon.

I usually run OBW/Ares/Punisher because they are a flexible team and they cover all covers. Oh and because I don't have other 3* maxed like Spiderman and Magneto. Stealing and healing is covered by OBW, massive damage is covered by Ares' yellow/green ability and Punisher's green and aoe damage by Ares' red and Punisher's black. Additionally, high health opponents are taken care of with Punisher's red.

I would like to try a maxed Psylocke because she is fun to play, but her abilities depend a lot on her level and I am not she is worth the ISO to get her to 141. BP is another character I would like to max.

I like teams that have overlapping abilities. It gives you more flexibility in the situations you may find yourself in.

C.Storm/MagN/GSBW is a lot of fun. Plenty of tilesmashing, crit making, AP collection, AOE attacks

LazyThor/Hulk/Ares is pretty thuggish, with lots of damage flexibility and green AP generation



I've really been enjoying using Doom/Hood/Ares in the recent PvE. I need to run them in a standard tournament and see if they still can hold their own.

2* Thor, Storm & Magneto has been my go-to team for most of my first month. Magneto purples charge Storms blue AOE and red/green is effectively used by any one of them depending on the situation. It's a bit of a glass cannon approach if pink/blue are hard to come by, but I usually win 90%+. On the downside, blacks are wasted so I'm keen to sub out Thor for a decent black and yellow AP user at some point.

Patch and C Mags are my go to guys, with a rotating third. It's normally Spidey if I feel I'm going to have control the opposition a bit, but lately I've been rotating him out more and swapping in a damage dealer like Lazy Thor or Punisher. I'd like to build Doom up enough to rotate him in as well, as his Demons combined with Patch's strike tiles will decimate teams in no time at all.

That move has saved my bacon more then once on the recent thor sim node, which i use right after to spam rage back at him.

my current favorite is Spidey, MN Mags, and C Storm. I only use spidey because he taked purple priority over MN mags. MN mags used purple to make 5 blue which I add to blue on board for criticals. C Storm uses blue to damage everyone for 1600. stun lock is a bonus at the end for healing

I used it once in the Simulator when Psylocke was the last that could use blue and managed to steal 15 black for 3 uses (had 3 black stored) of Psi-Katana for the win. However in most cases I don't see it being more useful than other blue skills. I would like to try a Ares/Psylocke/Hood team though. Put down the Bewilder CD and in next turn use Ares' green. Then use Hood's Intimidation to trigger the CD and get all the green back and use Ares again. GG

OBW, M. Storm, Ares, is pretty cool. Covers most bases.

OBW for stealing/denial, healing, fills fishnet stocking quota.
Ares for nukes via green, team damage via red, sacrifice-himself-for-your-sins via yellow.
M. Storm for board clearing with green, environmental tile clearing with red, betting it all on black with hailstorm on the occasion that I somehow pick those up.

Another team I've been using for the Simulator that's been cool has been Awolverine, Bullseye, OBW

AWolverine for the slash, green for ocasional small bursts of damage and strike tiles.
Bullseye because he puts out like a million shield tiles and makes attacks go to one.
OBW so that I have a use for purple, stealing so the tile requirements for AWolv aren't so prohibitive, healing for any damage that gets past the shields.

The second one isn't actually that good a team outside the Sim, but it makes a decent side team for the lesser nodes.

Rainbow teams effing rule. Support rules. I adore both oBW and the Hood and while it might be a bit redundant to run them both, I like to do just that. The third is a good red/green/yellow (optional) user, maybe someone with countdown tiles, ideally the Punisher, Ares, Thor. Patch for those who have him, but you better have pistols ready to take out enemy strike tiles after Berserker Rage.

GSBW and Spidey. Lately I've been using Hulk to tank on Green/Red, and now that he's a level higher than GSBW on Black as well.

If Spidey ever gets really nerfed I'm leaving up a solid Black Panther in the background.

If you can't tell, I really like killing the opposing team all at once. BOOM!

I'm using patches, dr. doom and for my 3rd it's either punisher, spiderman or IM40, depending on who I'm facing.......c.storm gets in there every now and then too
