Dragon's Hoard, worth it?

The Dragon's Hoard offer is $69.99 for 2 SOI big boxes, 2 SOI fat packs, 100 Crystals and 35000 Runes. It seems attractive, but if you break it down, it's the equivalent of 1700 Crystals and 35000 Runes.

You can get 1800 Crystals in the store for $69.99, or 3000 Crystals for $99.99. I think that unless someone really needs the runes, it's better to shell out another $30 for almost double the amount of crystals.

So what do you think? Is it actually a good deal for you, or just nice-looking packaging? Or do you refuse to pay real money for in-game stuff?

It was worth it when there was a pricing error on Android and it was only $30. Otherwise no.

don't buy it! it's just crazy to spend cold hard $70 for digital packs that are very likely not going to reward you any new cards

It is an absolutely TERRIBLE "offer". They are just hoping to lure people into it who don't stop to look around or think.

    I have purchased it twice.

Once when it had the pricing error (it was a -really- good deal, duh!) = no brainer.

Once when I thought I would take a stab at fishing for some new cards = big mistake since the dupe proc rate is ridiculously high.

Unless you are starting out and need to fill the foundation of your collection, it is not worth it. Too high of a price for too low of an expected value.

It's only TERRIBLE if you don't need the runes. Otherwise it's just a big mistake.

Even if you are starting out, might as well just buy the crystals and then the packs separately

No! You can get so much from this game for free that $70 for anything seems absurd.

    No. Just no.

It's still terrible even with the runes. You can get runes doing anything; they are free. They are only good for 1 thing and that is leveling PW's. Don't buy runes. Just play more. If you're dedicated enough to the game to be willing to spend money on it, then runes likely won't be an issue after a bit of time investment.
