Next 4* characters to spend on

Background: 11 4* Champs, Jean, Thor, Cyclops, Kingpin, Deadpool, Wolverine, Antman, RHulk, Cho, Hulkbuster and Iceman
I've got Fury, Elektra, IW, Venom, Starlord and Prof X max covered.
4/2/5 X23, 3/4/3 Gr, 5/4/3 Miles, 3/4/5 Nova, 4/3/5 Sam Wilson, 4/3/5 Thing, 4/2/4 Quake, 4/2/4 Peggy
3*s are all champed and 2* farm is in full effect.

Are any of those characters (except Peggy) real game changers in pvp?
Is my soon to be 1/3/3 OML worth putting the iso into instead?

I'm considering if I should focus on top characters, spend the iso on characters as they come up (Starlord and Thing are due to be 900 point awards this season), or try to fill out some gaps in the 4* boosted roster (though Invisible Woman is about the only one well covered in the current gaps).

I'm using Cho, Rulk, IM40/Switch as my Class of 2016 team and, while kinda dull to play, firing off 15k AoEs reliably fast is nothing to snub my nose at.

Cho isn't the dumpster fire of a mess he once was. He's by no means top-tier now, but he makes of a decent 3rd in stuff like Sim or Class of 2016 where there is no required character. He makes charge counters automatically, so Thoress likes him (but not as much as IM40), and he auto generates green, so Rulk and other green users dig him.

Of the rest I've only got Venom champed, and he's turning out to be the Squirrelgirl of 4*s; he's really strong against certain types of foes, but un-remarkable against everyone else. His yellow hits like a truck, with numbers comparable to HB's red at 9 cost, but his black is only really good PvE (unless Cage takes off in a big way) but will boost enemy OML unless you dedicate 5 covers to it. His green does alright damage, but gets board shake and a discount if you're fighting spam happy opponents like Carnage.

I've heard good things about Thing and Miles, and I've seen how nasty X023 can be. Sam pairs well with Antman and Switch, but that's about it for him.
