Awaken Spells be turned off?

I wish there was a way to click a button and make my awaken Spells stop charging. There are times when i just want the regular effect and then have the rest of the mana go to other cards; but currently i HAVE to either fill it up full or put it later in my hand and hope i get enough mana for it

    Nothing worse than having an awaken card that needs one more mana to cast non awakened.

    To conclude, we need a button with three positions :
    - I want to fill Awaken cost BEFORE casting the spell
    - I don't want to fill the awaken cost, cast it when the primary cost is fill
    - I don't bother, act as today, awaken is a bonus, nothing else!

    what do you think of it?

    I figure the "awaken tax" is the drawback to the dual purpose card.
    I rarely use them because of that.

    If we could disable awaken similar to how we just disable casting a card, I would actually start using them

    An on off button should suffice on the effect icon on the card.

    This would make those cards much more viable. I hope this will be reconsidered.
