Panicked and Lost My Account

In the midst of the Facebook glitch this morning I managed to disassociate my game/phone from my Facebook account by removing the app from Facebook. Bad, bad move. Now my game/phone is associated with a new account and my old profile is lost in the aether. I hope support can associate my game/phone with the old account...

New profile name: DeadAccount
Old profile name: PierreHanzo

I've already made a support ticket. Guess I have to wait till Monday to hear back, and it'll probably take longer still to get my account back. Kinda regretting spending money on this game right now. icon_cry.gif

    I don't know what's going on with these guys, but I've been waiting almost 3 weeks for an account restore. Ever since they deployed that patch that introduced coalition chat, I haven't been able to play. I have a ticket with them, but it took them almost a week to reply the first time and ask for the same info I already provided in the ticket. Then nothing for a week, then I get some email that says they don't know how long it will take. That was a week ago.

    I hope it doesn't take this long for you, but I'm just telling you what I'm going through. I don't know how they let things get this messed up... Well yeah, I do; it's because they wanted to save some money and use the Facebook API to handle profile authentications. If they just had their own login sever like every other modern game, people wouldn't have these kinds of issues. Hell, if they designed the game client so that backing up profile data with an app like Titanium Backup would work, that would be SOMETHING. But for whatever reason, the client automatically overwrites manual restoration so it doesn't work.

    I dunno, man... It's not like these guys are indie developers. They hold IP licenses to some of the biggest names in pop culture and gaming, and they have multiple revenue streams with several different games. Yet their customer support is like they have 2 guys working on it, who are also both responsible for some other job as well. I don't understand how it's as bad as it is... I really don't.

    I don't have Facebook, and when I logged in after switching phones I was treated like a new player in training and all my game data was gone. I submitted a ticket. Support successfully recovered all my hard earned game data in less than a week.

    There is a massive amount of people playing this game. With that comes a substantially large number of user & technical issues to be addressed. I for one think the devs and their support team do a great job of addressing them, considering what they are up against.

    There will be bugs. They will be fixed, and there will be more bugs, and so on. Regardless, I have maxed out all the basic monocolored PWs, completed about 90 % of story mode, gold tiered my color mastery, and quickly rose to the top of my coalition, all without spending a single red cent. That's right. I haven't even purchased so much as the one time starter pack for $8.99 or whatever. Few mobile games can boast the opportunity to excell to such high levels without spending any real money. For that, I think this game is the **** McGee of rpg puzzlers, and the devs deserve a round of applause.

    I guess I can no longer say I haven't spent anything on the game, because I just gave my 2 cents. OH! Badumpbump! tssssssss...
