Can't join VIP? Option not on my app

Hey, I use a samsung galaxy note 4 and on my Marvel Puzzle Quest there is no VIP button above the versus. My alliance says it's probably a bug. I've uninstalled the app and got rid of all the data, reinstalled and it still isn't there. Any idea how I can get this to come up? I really want VIP! Please help!
