Looking at this I think I'd oddly prefer if my alliance finished in the top 250 rather than top 100, would rather more chances at those LT or normal 4* covers than a 5th red Dino cover!

Is there a reason why the single Anniversary token doesn't have a daily deal? I remember the previous Anniversary events did.

It does have a daily deal, the first one only costs 100 HP.

Bouncing off Punisher's comment, I'm also curious why the 10pk is at 3k like a normal season instead of reduced like it was for the shortened season

It's normally at 4000, so there is some discount.

Yeah, but you only have to average 400 per event for a normal season, completely ignoring sim, much higher required average here, and the difficulty of Best Friends doesn't make me think it's going to be terribly easy to hit that...

Agreed, for a full season it's normally something like 40% of full progression isn't it - 4000/10000 or in the case of this past "short season" 1600/4000 if I recall - and here it seems to be 75% 3000/4000.

Maybe they raised it because it's a vault 10-pack instead of just a random heroic draw 10-pack?

In any event, this 10-pack is proving to be demoralizingly tough to reach. I had no boosted 4*s for bff's and none of the weekly 4* buffs for rawr, so getting points has been rough. I have rulk and cho for the next one, but with all those boosted 5*s, I predict another struggle. It doesn't seem very festive to set the bar so high.

I'm pretty much resigned to not reaching the 10pk.

On the bright side, of the 20 pulls I've earned thus far, I've netted 5 x 4* pulls (2 Dino, 1 XPool, 1 Jean, 1 Venom) and 6 x 3* pulls (BP, Storm, IM40, Cage, Rags, and Beast). No HP yet though.

All of the 4* pulls have been useful, though I had sold all my old Dino covers previously (couldn't justify spending the slot on him at the time), so he was no good to me in the Clash.

Hopefully I'll get a few more tokens to pull before it's over, but if not, not a bad haul.

Hopefully not. It was a pretty bad experience. Phoenix was completely unbalanced compared to the other bosses. Of course, sinister six showed that wave bosses can actually work, so maybe they'll try to rebalance it.
