My alliance didn't get VIP cp?

I purchased VIP today but no one in my alliance received the 1 cp bonus for VIP subscription. Did this bonus offer end when I wasn't looking? I got my bonus LT just fine and everything else is coming through ok.

I think it's only for renewing VIP status, not for a first purchase.0
