Change in Event opponent PW pool?

Today I encountered a Koth in the Terrors event and another person encountered an Ob Nixilis. Black and red are not node choices in this event. Previously, the game would exclude from your potential opponents any single color PW that was not a valid node choice. Was this changed?

    Oh yes, I found an Obnixilis deck too!

    I met a Chandra and a Liliana deck.

    It's clear that this has been changed but the question is whether it's an intended change or a bug.

    I'm also hoping that someone will answer this for us. I went up against four Chandras, two Lilianas, and two Ob Nixilis during this event. That's 16% of my matches against decks that were previously ineligible.
