Missed Connection - (CH, are you watching?)

We first met 6 months ago. I had just started a new hobby and looking to do well. You were there, but I was so low-leveled you probably never noticed me. People would say mean things about you ("CH must have spent loads of money to get a roster like that!", "I'll show CH for attacking me!"), but I didn't listen to them. You kept on winning and winning and winning. You were never one to come talk on the forums and boast. You were the silent killer.

Then all of a sudden, I stopped seeing you around. I didn't see you atop leaderboards or come up in my MMR anymore. Like the many great titans of your time, I had assumed you had left us for something else.

Months passed and I honed my skills and grew stronger and stronger. Now it was me who was atop the leaderboards. You see...at some point, I found others to band together with. Fury, Jachdo, TheLadder, WYP - we became a team. We became S.H.I.E.L.D. (<- that last period denotes the end of the sentence, completely unrelated to the acronym)

Then one day, you were there. In our alliance. Nobody knows how you got there or even who invited you in, but there you were. It seemed like you had still been playing...you had BP and Psylocke with good covers. I was surprised. So, we continued moving forward. But, you never said a word. We just didn't talk. I had no idea how I could communicate with you. Alas, I couldn't take it any more. It was just so...cold. I'm sorry, but we had to move on. I'll always remember you.

TLDR: CH, I'm sorry we had to kick you out of the alliance. We just couldn't get in contact with you, which we felt was important for the alliance to function well.

    God, this feels like an obituary... lol icon_e_wink.gif

    CH is/was one of the true originals, I remember cowering away from his beefed up roster in my early days. I think people like him batting me around with impunity kickstarted my drive to advance. If you can't beat them, join them. And all that.

    Wonderful now he is going to go all Winter Soldier on us and start turning into a hardcore assassin. But maybe in the end he will become the new Captain America.

    You know it wasn't caps fault with Bucky, he thought he was dead, Bucky diddnt call or write, what was Cap to do?

    That's not how I recall it. Cap froze Bucky out and then just drifted away....
