Can I remove my account from facebook whatever?

I don't know what you want to call it.

Since 1.7 some of my supports have been behaving oddly, which isn't happening to anyone else in my coalition, so I figured I'd reinstall the app but wanted to make sure I didn't lose my account so I connected it to facebook before doing so. The weird little bugs are still happening so I don't really know whats going on with that but now the game is running very poorly compared to before. Lots of art seems to not load and the game stops to process things or something often.

I can't say for sure they are related but I don't use facebook and I'd like to remove its ties to my account for this game.
