I copied Fresh Cut to Cage Match, updated the boosted, copied the levels into another document, started replacing lukecage with hulkcho, sentry with beast, ares with msmarvel, moonknight with lukecage, psylocke with sentry, hawkeye with ares and juggernaut with storm. Then it was a case of making sure the colours were right. I don't see find and replace being any quicker using Excel.

When I have confidence they're not going to change things around too much, I might put it all into a spreadsheet and have the main characters and colours in set cells, and use formulae to build up the strings. Then all I'd have to do is update the cells and then copy the spreadsheet into the text file. Yeah, that's not a bad idea. Luckily the weekend is here...

Fair point. It may be more a PVE timesaver I guess, because each event, the points for progression need to be updated (even when it's the same event), so that's time consumption that's gone away for me.

I'm curious on your idea around the spreadsheet though. If it works out well, let me know and I may steal .. err ... utilise it.
