Dropped my Clearance Level in PvP

I'm level 52 and a transitioning player not reaching the 4* cover.

2* placement rewards aren't as good as 3* placement rewards which will actually help me (better 3* for when they come around boosted, will eventually cough up 4* covers).

Anyone else thinking about trying this?

I would hope this is useful feedback for where CLs should settle, before people start yelling about the merits and pitfalls baked goods.
