Hi Everyone -

We wanted to give a heads up that we are going to have a Nodes of Power Event go live today and end right before the Coalition Challenge starts back up on Saturday. I don't have an exact time on when this will go live today but I expect in the next couple of hours. Tell your friends in Coalition Chat!

Thanks!

Very inconvenient time for anyone who lives in Russia. Events begin at 1: 00AM. I'm afraid our coalition nor be able to fully participate in the events that begin at this time.
  • I'm the leader of the coalition 4pdaru. We are a top 10 in each events. Why in the game there was no warning in advance of the event? In my time the event began at 3am. I very much hope that you will repair a system of events. I do not want to leave the game.

    Whu, what? Aaaarghgh!!

Given that the last time you always have the next event pointed out on the Event page after the previous event ends, what's with this sudden event now?!?

This is why I HATE the way the nodes of each event start off with FULL stocks, and you randomly sneak in events like this with such a short notification time, causing people to miss out on competing for top prizes.

Please reconsider the way you do events in the future. icon_evil.gif

I also think this was mishandled a bit. I missed that the event started and have been playing catch since this morning but I’m way behind and will never be able to get a descent spot in the event even though I’ve won all my matches so far.

Even more important, starting the event at that time is really inconvenient for player in Western Europe, with CET the event started at midnight.

I hope this was just a onetime occurrence.

Event should have been notified earlier, but to complain about an inconvenient time?

I have to start it in the middle of the night every event! Let's switch over to my time zone for a few months.

I'm with you here; I also live where events tend to start very late at night, although my main complaint is not about timing, but about the full, non-replenished starting stocks. It doesn't matter when the start time is, it's BOUND to start when some people are not awake, or at work, or what-have-you.

Is there any wonder why some people stereotype gamers as lazybums when we players are forced dedicate the wrong times to play our favorite games? (okay, this last one probably went too far)

Aquilen, thearrty, Alexx40in - Yes, the event was started without enough notice to avoid frustrating many players.

But as others have said, the timing of the event starting in the middle of the night is normal for many players, including myself. You've now experienced it once, and you've apparently found it hard to deal with; you should realise that large portions of the player base have to deal with this for every single event. For example, for players in Eastern Australia, all events begin at 2:00am.

Now that you've had a taste of what it's like, maybe you can support the repeated calls on various forum threads to make it somewhat fair, for example, by beginning events with nodes which aren't charged to full capacity.

I very much agree. It would be better with a solution were every player no matter where can compete on the same conditions.

If it ends right when Coalition challenge starts, people who started 2-4 hours into the event will lose a round of fights. I know this is just a continuation of the short notice problems already, but really if the node cool down is 4 hours, shouldn't the event be a multiple of 4 hours? Would have been better to start the event 2 hours later if this event ends right as the next event begins.

Really shouldn't have full nodes to start though. Would address many challenges the current system has for an international audience.

Thank you everyone for your feedback, I will share this with the team. We will be back to 2 events running next week with a SOI PVP on Wednesday and the Coalition Challenge on Saturday.

Good luck in the events this weekend!

Wow, with the Carriage gone and the combo decks nerfed, it sure is hard to lose now, isn't it? I've got a perfect score in Nodes of Power and am not even in the top 25.

You're in the same bracket as me.

    It's pretty crazy isn't it?!
