Hi Everyone -

We want to provide some details for the Coalition Challenge: Avacyn's Madness. We are super excited to bring another brand new event for everyone to check out and we hoped you enjoyed it. Many of you participated in the Challenge and hopefully you earned some great rewards that you were after.

We are going to run the Challenge again on Saturday (10/1) and wanted to share this information with you. We plan to have the next Challenge up for 48 hours but as you know, based on participation, it may be completed sooner.

Please let us know if there is any additional information that you may find helpful and I will look to add them to the details here.

DETAILS

- Only members of a Coalition can play this event.
-Every Coalition fights together to defeat the Invading Boss.
-The Boss has a set amount of HP.
-Player deals damage to the Boss by winning Individual Battle against the Boss’ forces and completing secondary objectives. (both are repeatable.)
-15 different PVE Encounters are available for the Individual Battle: 5 different Nodes of 3 Opponents. The harder the encounter is the more damage you deal to the boss.
-Player must defeat the first opponent of a node to access the second one and so on.
-The Nodes have 3 charges. When the charge are depleted the player must wait for the node to recharge.
-Player earns Individual Progression Rewards for individual performance.
-The event ends when the Boss is defeated. (0% of HP remaining.)
-The Coalitions are Ranked by the Total Damage Dealt (Ribbons) during the time of the event and are rewarded accordingly.

Will Avacyn have the same amount of HP as last time? Or are you doubling them after seeing the first one last less than 24 hours?

We will be increasing the HP in this next iteration of the Challenge.

I hope you are also accounting for higher engagement from players being a weekend event and more efficient attacks against Avacyn since people are now familiar with what to expect. I know you're hoping for 48 hours, but I'd be surprised if she lasts over 36.

Now that players have the perception of scarcity, engagement will increase. It's like people that only eat fast food panick buying a gallon of milk before a big storm. Even if the HP for Avacyn is increased, there will be many that will get burned by the unpredictable nature of the event timing.

It may be better to run the event back to back to back over a set amount of time so that the event is there when someone goes to play it.
