I haven't gotten Drownyard yet so I haven't been able to test it out myself, but I've noticed a lot of decks using it. Is it worth the extra casting cost (9 vs 5)?

Some decks I use both as 6 mana gain is awesome. The benefit of Downyard is that it will return to play with a landfall if it was destroyed from play.
  • I think even without playing other colorless cards in your deck the shrine is just straight up the better card by miles. The almost doubled casting cost makes it look like an uncommon in comparison.

not totally true, you can discard a drownyard wiht like liliana 1st ability and then landfall to put in play even if it never been there.

That said, shrine is better in most decks tho

I think Shrine might be too cheap for what it does.
