Lvl 85 team matching up with Lvl 230 teams in PvE

Hi

I've been matched up with lvl 230 teams (lvl 230 daken, lvl 230 thor, lvl 230 jugg, etc) for the past few PvE events. Last one being the Hulk event.

My username is Ju Li and my highest lvl characters are lvl 85 (thor, storm, obw).

Apparently that's not supposed to happen. It's also quite ludicrous because I have to dump a ton of boosts to win each fight. Could someone check to see if my account's bugged?

I'm afraid it kind of is what's meant to happen. Scaling is based on the battles you're managing to win, and the battles the community is managing to win, so it seems that the game may be taking the fact that you're winning these difficult fights (even if massively boosted) as a sign you've found your level.

There are good reasons for the player being offered enemies levelled higher than they are -- between the advantages offered to the player and their ability to play more intelligently than the AI, it's often quite easy to beat a team that's at the same level, and the game's challenge probably shouldn't be capped quite that low. However, I do think the scaling can go far too far in the other direction (the community aspects particularly, which are also affected by some people, especially those who have a good Spider-Man, having a much higher ability to beat higher-levelled enemies than others).

The worst thing about the scaling is that rewards don't scale with it.
Which means you're fighting higher levels enemies for almost no reason other than you're better than other people.
