Maggia missions
Hello,
Not been playing too long, enjoying things so far and found lots of useful stuff here. Been working on a 1* team so far. Progress is slow and steady until I tried my first maggia mission was over very quick!
Using im35 5/5/3 lvl 35 storm 5/3/5 lvl 30 and widow 2/5 lvl 20 only just started getting 2* covers and have a few 1000 iso. Really struggled on the above guys I'm I under leveled, using the wrong team or just really bad!
Sold hawkeye and juggs but thinking they may have been of some use here?
Cheers!

The Maggia really are pretty difficult relative to their level. You'll be wanting to use Modern Black Widow's stun on them a lot, but that can only do so much. If you pick up blue covers for Original Black Widow, she might be handy, as she increases the countdown on timers -- but that might well not be available to you.
You might consider trying some of the PvP and PvE content if you're not already, to win a few extra rewards to power up your characters, and make the Maggia missions easier. Or replaying earlier missions to pick up any leftover rewards, or following the branches without Maggia where you can.0 -
With Storm and Widow you already have 2 of the best 1* characters for those missions. All of those type of missions, whether they're against Maggia, Hammer or Doombots, they're an exercise in board control. What you need to do is understand what colour tiles your enemy will be using, and try to make sure you always leave ways to eliminate the countdown tiles as soon as they come on the board. Try and look several moves ahead to see how you can eliminate troublesome countdowns. With Storm you can shake the board up using her abilities, so that's always useful.
Just keep at it, with a bit of practise those missions will seem incredibly easy0 -
Depending on the maggia involved, you need to be sure you target the right ones first. Also be aware of which countdowns are strike tiles and which are damage. You can let a strike tile through to the keeper but don't let a tommy gun go off.
Hawkguy can be useful, his ability to drop in a crit tile can create matches, and his ability to clear a row can, well, clear a row. But IM35s damage should be enough realistically with the two other control characters.0
