I Messed Up A Build... Now What?

I had two Modern Black Widow covers in my waiting list and I wanted to RECRUIT the Blue cover (to do another build to compare with) but instead my hand slipped and I accidentally hit the TRAIN button on the Purple cover which bumped my current working build to one I didn't want.

Is there anything I can do about something like this?

I literally sneezed - damn allergies!!! - and hit the wrong button.

I think you need to find a paddle.

Have a bit of patience and you should easily find new covers. MWB is very very common. You shouldn't have to wait long. You could try contacting support, but it's probably really not worth it for a 100 iso 1* cover.

Modern Black Widow's purple is one of the abilities that require more AP in return for a stronger effect as it levels up. In those cases, players may consider the levelling up not worth it, even when they're not dealing with a capped number of covers.

Scrap it and start it all over. You cant respec her since she is 5/5 only.

Edit: Shes very very common. I needed one for the juggernaut event and in a couple of days got to a 2/5 easily

I also messed up my ironman 40. Planned to keep his yellow at 2, but accidentially updated to 3.........

Everything else being equal she is squishy regardless. For a 1* team Iron Man will tank blue for her either way (I'm assuming) so purple is the issue either way. At least with that build she needs less (matches putting her in front) of it.

I have occasionally trained skills I did not intend as I was scrolling down my rewards screen. Super annoying. There should be a confirmation box.

Now that we have respec would anyone have an issue with a 'Remove a Cover' feature?

The only consequence would be a forced lowering of levels if removing a particular cover would put the character's soft level cap below their current level. But that loss is one I'm sure many people would eat in order to remove a cover.

What do you all think, would that break the game in anyway?

During the juggernaut event i used a 2/5 lvl 1 Modern Black widow. She never attacked. A rocket or a flamethrower would have killed her anyway. Her stun and steal were invaluable

Tough luck. For the record, I did that too. Quite some time ago. The bright side is 1) it's not that bad really and 2) you'll stop using MBW soon enough that is insignificant to worry about.

End thought: I'll just rebuild. Wasn't sure if there was any other possible respeccing option available with her being able to have 5/5 max as opposed to 5/5/3 (or some variation thereof which offers a bit of flexibility depending) and thought I would ask to make sure.

Yeah, she's a common 1 star, BUT with my limited roster (juuust starting to build oBW!), she is invaluable if played right.

That said:

Yeah, she's uber squishy and yeah, her AP stealing is more worth it (for me and my play style) at a lower cost, and yeah, because she isn't fully leveled, invariably someone snags her AP for her most of the time but if not, as long as she is my first-in-line to do matches, she's okay (but still squishy).

Good luck sun. Don't waste a lot of iso on her if you end up rebuilding, she can stun and steal just fine at low level.

Why would u want to keep it at 2?

to cast it more often/quicker
level 3 only adds at most 6 Greens, which I don't need with my current team

I don't see the problem here. Max Blue is the only way to go. If it was purple, that's different, but the only change to her blue is a better stun.

I already had a Widow at 5 Blue and 3 Purple. I wanted to build another 5 Blue and 2 Purple with the extra covers but I ended up training her Purple with the extra cover as opposed to creating a new build.

Sorry if I wasn't clear.
