iPhone 7 - reclaiming my account on new phone

So I'm one of the lucky ones who got my new phone today.

I downloaded and signed in to Facebook, then downloaded and launched MPQ.
After playing the first unskippable tutorial match I hit the settings, clicked the Facebook option and then "connect".

Now I'm on a loading screen saying "connecting to Facebook"... I've been on this loading screen for about 10 minutes as a matter of fact.

We shall see what happens.....

Update:
After 20 minutes of waiting I clicked "cancel" and closed the app.

I restated the app, went again through the process of Facebook sync, and then it brought me almost immediately to the right screen (overwrite device data with Facebook save).

Clicked to restore my save and all my stuff is here on the new device.

Anyone else switching, don't hang out on the "connecting to facebook" screen.
