Give us 1* Champions to farm

For a very brief, shining moment it looked like Standard Recruit tokens where going to be replaced with something relevant.
That was obviously a miscomunication.
I've been playing for a year, and I don't need 1*s. I dread to think what REAL long term players feel like opening Standard Recruit tokens.
Give us a way to feed 2*s with them, and provide some experience (even if it's 1 exp a go), so they ACTUALLY DO SOMETHING.
1*s are irrelevant after a month or so of play. If you're not going to stop cramming hundreds of them down our throats please give us the option to make them relevant, however fringe an option it may be.

Please no. Unless they don't eat up roster slots. I am at 97 currently and still have 2 4* to roster (needed to cut one today) and 3 2* on top of any new release. I am 5k HP short to have all the "working" toons in my roster. Adding all the 1* would make it even harder.
I agree that there should be a way to make them work. 1 XP for each standard token open would be a good start. Truly replacing them with Elite ones at CL5 (or higher) would be even better.0 -
I'm in the opposite camp. I personally think they should cut all 1*s from the game. They are useless laughably early outside of DDQ and that's the only reason why anyone whose been playing for longer than 2-3 months even has 1 of them. What would it take to eliminate 1* from the game:
- Release a new prologue that works with and rewards 2* characters. People have been asking for new prologue anyway.
- Replace Standard Tokens with Elite Tokens completely.
- Rework DDQ. This is another one people have been asking for. I'd love to see them eliminate the 1* node and replace it with 2 4* nodes, the final of which being a 4* version of TBE.0 -

Don't have us farm 1* champions.
But it would be nice if at a certain SCL and above, you received only Elite tokens instead of Regular tokens. I had thought that was what they originally said would happen, but I guess I (and many others) misunderstood them.
We can still win 1*s from pvp, so that's plenty. All anyone needs is one strong 1* for ddq and then mbw for team-ups... although I don't send it as often, since it doesn't provide much XP...0 -
You DO get 1XP from adding a cover to a 1*. You sacrifice iso though, as if you apply it to an unleveled 1* the sale price doesnt go up. So farm away.0

1* Champs are a phenomenal idea. Standard tokens are prolific and the most available resource in this game. This would greatly smooth the 1, 2 and 3 star transition.
At CL 5 I don't want to see another standard token ever again, and like the suggestion to have elites replace them in PvE loot tables.
It's good to understand that these suggestions are not mutually exclusive. Even if all the standards are excised from PvE by CL, in PvP, you'll still have a ton of 1* prizes coming in.0 -

Careful of that. It may not provide as much XP per send, but you can send her FAR more frequently. There are some 4* (Cyc, Carnage, Elektra) that are 4xp for 12 hr (1/3 xp/hr), but some are 36 hours (1/9 xp/hr) while Stings are 1 xp for 6hr (so 1/6 xp/hr).....better than most 4* TUs. And they are often a LOT more useful on the receivers end.0
