Where to spend ISO?

Alright, it's been a long time building as a mostly casual-paced player to get to this point, but I'm finally getting some of my 4*s besides Thor up to where they have a good number of covers. My roster is here for your reference.

Some relevant facts:
- I'm SHIELD level 58, 2/3 of the way to level 59. I've been on a season and a half PvP hiatus because May was just a killer month of MPQ, and after taking a vacation and being unable to play and realizing I was burned out, I've cut PvP out of my play for now.
- As previously stated, I am *mostly* casual. I don't bother with optimal clears in PvE. I clear all nodes 4x, hit the 2* essential and trivial nodes to green checks, and call it good, and I do that as I have time throughout the day. It's good enough for T100 in new character releases, and it gets me my 25 CP and now my 4* cover. That's good enough. Placement can eat a banana.
- I spent the SHIELD ISO influx on champing the rest of my 3*s (except Psylocke, she needs covers still) and bringing Hulkbuster to 229.
- My ISO stash is currently about 160,000.

I'm looking particularly at my 4*s... but at the same time please don't give me advice on working on a 2* farm. I don't have the time or energy right now to devote to PvP to earn the HP for roster slots or covers to keep up a champ farm right now. I sold off Moonie and Captain Marvel and am rebuilding them, but Marvel is still only level 112 from when I sold her right after the updated sale prices... so you can see this is not as beneficial to me right now. I'd rather focus my resources on the 4s that might be more helpful while my overall time for life is more limited. After I graduate in spring... sure. I'll do more with 2s.

All that being said, looking at my roster, what might be the best course of action to start spending my ISO?

I definitely support champing as many characters as possible, the champion rewards are quite nice.
From your fourstar options, Hulkbuster seems like a natural first. Cyclops is in pretty good shape too. It's unfortunate though that you don't have any green/purple fourstars to complement colors though.

Given you have 4thor and IM40 both champed (and Im40 at a reasonably high level) I would look into rounding out that team with one of the purple green users in 4* land, those being rulk, iceman and jg. I would roughly rank them in that order especially given your cover distribution but you won't go wrong maxing them out to their cover max (pending nerf rumors on Iceman and jg). 4cyke is another really good option but doesn't add as much as rulk would to your team due to you having 4thor champed.

Also, there's no reason you shouldn't be able to climb to about 650 - 800 in the last 11 hours of PvP outside of s2 just using 4thor and im40. You don't need to shield if you don't care about placement but getting the ISO, HP, covers and tokens would really be a benefit to your progression.

Honestly, your best option is to sit on that ISO for the time being. With Shield Clearance and your level you've got a Hulkbuster coming in the event after Deadpool vs, which probably won't be a red cover. Then it's a matter of nabbing a single cover from a PVP event when he cycles around. And 160k will likely be the pricetag to bring him up to champ. 4*s are hungry SoBs once they crack 220.

Thanks for the great feedback guys. I think I might hold off on spending since I've seen a few comments about Hulkbuster being the upcoming progression reward. That makes sense to wait for in my opinion.

And yeah stochasticism, you're right. 800 really isn't that difficult without shielding with the wide roster and IM40/4Thor. Shoot, 1k is actually pretty easy when she's boosted. I'm still trying to recover from the burnout though. I work two part-time jobs in addition to full time college courses until May, and sitting through an hour and a half of PvE each day still is killer. That's the mode I enjoy most though because it's more rewarding overall. It's just excuses in the end, but I want to keep enjoying the game especially given the improvements of late, so I've kept PvP dialed back. Clearance 7 is so much better for me now in PvE that I feel it's worth it until I graduate at least.
